The economy of the municipality Gradiška significantly started to develop in the second half of the twentieth century, first in agriculture and then in other economic activities. The rapid development of agriculture was based on natural resources and the application of modern means and agricultural practices in agriculture, the construction of modern farms and amending breed composition in livestock production, as well as the raising of modern fruit orchards.
